TV를 켰네

개리는 맨날 TV를 끈 다는데 나는 열심히도 켜놓고 있다.

1. 영화를 봤다. The Help. 내가 가장 안좋아하는 타입, 그러니까 환난 극복의 교훈적인 드라마인데, 그래도 생각보다 꽤 재미있게 봤다. 이런 드라마는 괜한 감동 유발을 유도한다던가, 진득진득하지 않게 유지시키는 부분이 포인트인 거 같다. 그러나 저러나 미국이라는 나라는 참 넓다.

 

2. 예전에도 이야기한 적 있는데, 코미디를 무척 좋아하는 사람임에도 불구하고 TV로 보는 라이브 스탠딩 개그는 좋아하지 않는다.

기본적으로 그런 건 무대를 찾아가서 현장감을 즐기며 봐야하는 것이라는 선입견도 있고, 이왕 TV로 보는 거라면 완성도 높게 짜여진 쪽을 더 좋아하기 때문이기도 하다. 방송에 우연성이 너무 개입되는 것도 - 차라리 버라이어티에서 복불복 같은 걸로 형성된 우연성은 괜찮은데 짜여진 연기를 소화하다가 나오는 우연성, 즉 현장성은 - 마음에 들지 않는다. 이런 쪽으로 역시 완벽한 건 영화인데, 코미디로 1시간 30분 이상은 그것도 좀 보기에 부담스럽다.

여하튼 그래서 개콘, 웃찾사 뭐 하나 열심히 본 게 없다. 그런데 요새 TvN의 코미디 빅리그를 챙겨보고 있다. 다 보는 건 아니고 옹달샘, 아메리카노 안영미 부분, 아3인 도입부 이렇게 세 팀.

옹달샘은 이제 버라이어티에서 무르익은 3인방의 짜여진 콩트 도전이라 매번 궁금하고, 아3인은 관람객 참여 전까지 흡인력이나 밀도감이 꽤 마음에 든다.

그리고 아메리카노. 안영미는 무한걸스 같은 리얼 버라이어티에는 솔직히 좀 안 어울리다고 생각해서 개인적으로 별로인 코미디언으로 생각하고 있었는데, 아메리카노에서는 그야말로 최고다. 안영미가 저런 사람이었나 매번 생각을 한다. 정말 완벽히 캐릭터를 소화하고 있다. 이런 사람은 콩트를 해야 되.

오피셜이 있는데 한국에서는 볼 수 없게 막혀있다. 그나마 되는 건 2분 후 쯤에서 끊기고. 이건 그래서 야매... 로 하려고 했는데 보니까 2nd Verse부터는 가사만 있고 아직 곡 발표는 안한 듯. 12월 6일 공개 예정이다.

 

영어는 정말 자신없지만(ㅠㅠ) 대충 보면

tip the scale은 무게가 나간다, 뭐 이런 느낌. Urban Dic에서 찾아보니까 뭔가 넘치게 가지고 있다는 뉘앙스도 있는 거 같다. 그러니까 I live life tryna tip the scale에서 tryna는 trying to니까 나도 좀 잘 살려고 했다, 정도.

Rob Peter to pay Paul은 Paul한테 갚기 위해 Peter껄 훔쳤다, 즉 뭔가 해결하려고 하다 점점 더 꼬여간다는 의미...

정확하게 못 알아들어서 문제지 딱히 모르는 글자는 없다... 그래도 굉장히 갑갑한 분위기라는 건 알 수 있을 듯. 자신없는 분야는 이쯤에서 그만. ㅠㅠ
